Who is Man?

Who is Man that God should so love and care for him?

In God’s sixth year or period of creation and after he had commanded Adam not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, “for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die.” God looked upon Adam and said; “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him. And whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. But for Adam there as not found an help meet for him.”Genesis 2: 17- 20.  So; “The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof. The rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.  And they were both naked, the man and his wife and were not ashamed. “ Gen 2: 21-25   Since they were married by God our heavenly Father himself, and they were not YET subject unto death, they therefore were married for eternity.  They were naked and were not ashamed when the Lord God placed them in the Garden of Eden.  But as was done in the creation of former worlds, one of which Heavenly Father had lived upon as an ordinary  man, a fallen angel of light, in this case, Lord Lucifer himself, aka Satan, had not yet entered into their lives to implant any feelings of shame or guilt, but he would soon be allowed to do so. Yes we are also told in the scriptures; that as man is, God once was, and as God is, man may become.  In Psalm 82:6 We can read; “I said ye are Gods; you are all sons of the most high.” And in John 10:34 is written; “Jesus answered them; Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods?”

Adam fell that men might be, and Men are, that they might have Joy! 2 Nephi 2:25 The fall of man gave him an understanding of deprivation, misery, and punishment, as subsequent consequences.

 “Unto Adam God said; Because thou hast harkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee saying, Thou shalt not eat of it:  cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth unto thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken; for dust thou art and unto dust shalt thou  return.”  Gen 3: 17-19   

But the promise of redemption has given us hope of eternal joy to come. Men, you are the Patriarchs of your own families. Be aware of how the Lord God has set you apart with the duty to rule over and guide your own family and of the punishment he gave unto Adam for harkening unto the voice of his wife Eve.  Gen3:17-19. 

While God made the woman as a help for the man, that does not relinquish you of your responsibility to lead, teach and guide your children back to our Heavenly Father.

Ladies, be aware also: Unto the woman he said, “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow shalt thou bring forth children; and thy desire shall be unto thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” Gen 3:16.

D & C 132:8 reads: ‘’Behold my house is a house of order, saith the Lord God”  Yet he has placed us all here upon this earth to mess up and learn from our own errors and stupid mistakes.   Then when we realize our stupidity; To Repent and Return to his plan for our eternal happiness, which requires baptism, to fulfill all righteousness to obtain a remission of our sins.

Please people, forsake Satan. He is the liar, our accuser from the very beginning, the mass murderer of all our lovely little unborn children. We only need to turn away from him and return unto the Lord to obtain our salvation via the Grace of our beloved brother. Debt paid.
